About - De Niro Gold is a large-framed, strongly built young dressage stallion in the image of his sire who is an exciting prospect. This charming and charismatic stallion is well proportioned. De Niro Gold has three equally excellent, and balanced, basic gaits.
Sire - Sire De Niro died in 2017, and is regarded as probably the most successful dressage sire of recent years; top of the WBFSH sire rankings in 2016 for the fourth time. In Oldenburg he was I-a main premium winner, he successfully made his dressage Grand Prix debut at the age of seven, won the "Blue Band" at the German Derby in Hamburg as well as at the German Championship for professional riders twice. In 2008, he was proclaimed "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year", and has produced already more than 76 licensed sons in Germany alone. His offspring include Desperados FRH, D'Agostino, Dablino, Delgado, Danone I, Glock's Voice, Super Nova II, Der Designer, Dancier and Don Deluxe.
Damline - The dam Flourish is state premium mare and obtained the title "Elite Mare" in Oldenburg breeding. Her sire Florencio I was the 2003 Westphalian Champion and Vice Bundeschampion of four-year old stallions. In 2004, he won the Dutch Pavo Cup, followed by a mark of 9.8 at the World Championships for five-year old dressage horses in Verden. A year later, he defended his title at the same venue and was then internationally successful in dressage. His offspring include Floriscount, Flavio and Charmeur. In third generation is Rubinstein I, who himself was Bundeschampion of German Dressage horses. In 1994 he was winner of the Nürnberg Burg Trophy, among the best German young Grand Prix prospects in the Frankfurt Festhalle. As main premium champion stallion of 1990 he produced numerous licensed sons for nearly all German breeding areas. Through the highly esteemed dressage horse-maker Shogun xx, found in fourth generation, the valuable refining blood comes into the pedigree that plays a decisive part in the noble appearance of his offspring.
Progeny - De Niro Gold's first foals arrived in 2017, and led to the stallion placing third in the Oldenburg Hauptprämie, the competition for the best first crop of foals presented by a stallion that year.
