About - Fürst Romancier impresses with his three excellent paces, combined with outstanding collection and a very positive attitude, good tempermant and easy rideability. His paces are elastic and swing through his entire body, and he is a beautiful, tall stallion, ideal for adding height and cadence to his mares.
Performance - He received the excellent score of 9.0 for all of his paces in the 70-day performance test in 2008, also scoring a 9.5 for rideability. He was awarded the 2009 dressage Hauptprämie by the Oldenburg Verband, in recognition of his outstanding first crop, and was the most successful German stallion of his age group at the World Breeding Championships.
Sire - Fürst Heinrich, a Rosenkavalier descendent, was a World Champion as a young horse before his untimely death as seven-year-old. He only sired a few crops of foals, yet they included numerous top horses such as Fürstenball, who was the Oldenburg champion stallion in 2008, and Woodlander Farouche, double World Young Horse Champion and unbeaten internationally. His influence is such a short time is overwhelmingly positive, and he has more than 40 licensed sons including Franz Ferdinand, Fürst Wilhelm, Feinrich and Fürst Schufro.
Damline - The damsire Romancier is paternal half brother to Rubinstein, adding a generous portion of rideability into the gene pool. Fürst Romancier descends from one of the most successful Oldenburg mare lines, the Edoste line. Numerous licensed stallions have been born to this line, such as the Bundeschampion and European Championship contestant, Exupry, as well as reserve Bundeschampion Landjuwel Gold, Olympic horse Petit Prince, Grand Prix winner Avignon and numerous advanced level dressage horses. The most expensive foal at the A.O.S. foal auction was sired by Fürst Romancier.
Progeny - Fürst Romancier's son For Romance was the absolute winner of the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta 2011 - and sold at auction the next day for €750,000. In total, Fürst Romancier has 25 licensed sons, six of them premium stallions. His oldest offspring were born in 2008, and are now starting to emerge successfully on the international stage, including Fürst Levantino and Fürst Diamond.
