About - Gavi is a successful stallion in international show jumping. He is a talented, strong-minded and ultra-competitive stallion who is powerful and scopey.

Performance - He has been successful for several seasons in international competitions for Germany with Helena Stormanns, winning Grand Prix classes and competing in several Nations Cups. Hilmar Meyer started to ride him and they immediately won Grand Prix again. In July 2008 they easily took the Hanoverian State Champion title. In Germany alone there are 33 first places in advanced level classes on record for this stallion.

Sire - His sire Graf Grannus has produced 21 licensed sons. Year after year, his offspring such as Graf Gandalf and Ghia have impressive international results. In 2004, Graf Grannus became the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. Grand prix winners are found at every level in Graf Grannus' pedigree, and great grand-sire Gotthard is a foundation stallion of jumping breeding.

Damline - Gavi's dam, St.Pr.St. Wega, is a full sister of the licensed stallions Futurus and Werther's Wels, both of whom competed at the 2004 Olympic Games. His damsire, Werther, produced top international horses for dressage and show jumping. Wega has also produced the licensed stallion Show Boy (by Sunny Boy) and his full brother, a successful grand prix dressage horse.

Progeny - At the start of Gavi's breeding career he sired a few offspring, including a licensed stallion named Gavio, who competed successfully in international competitions under Thomas Weinberg. The more recent offspring are still growing into the sport and have already won in several tests for young show jumpers. At the championship for German broodmares in Aachen 2015, Gavina (Gavi x Chaseur I) achieved the very good score of 8.8, and in doing so won the four-year-old title. Also in 2015, his second son named Galileo was licensed in Westphalia. These offspring put Gavi among the top sires of all German jumper sires according to German FN's predicted breeding value statistics. He also has a third licensed son, Giuliano Gustavo.
