About - Hermes de Lux was the spectator's darling of his Holstein licensing in 2011 in Neumünster. He is a modern stallion with over 60% Thoroughbred blood; ideal for modernising a heavy or old-fashioned mare.

Performance - He took his stallion performance test in Neustadt-Dosse in 2012, finishing as champion jumping stallion and third overall. He has won young horse classes as best jumper stallion and 2nd Reserve Champion with a 9.25 for ability to jump, 9.0 for his walk, 8.63 for character and rideability, 8.9 for his final score with emphasis on jumping and a 8.51 for the weighted final score. He made his debut in tests for young show jumpers with outstanding victories.

Sire - His sire, Hermés d’Authieux AA, is one of the best Anglo-Arab stallions currently available. In 2000 he won the European five-year-old championships in St. Lô, and then jumped internationally with wins at CSI3* grand prix level. Hermés d’Authieux AA's offspring are impressive, and include grand prix jumpers Nilda Rouge and Omege de Menardiere. His sire, Ithuriel AA, competed in international show-jumping competitions under Xavier Leredde and has sired a great number of successful offspring, putting him near the top of the list of French performance sires.

Damline - Hermes De Lux's dam G-Manjana EGE was also a successful competitor herself. Damsire Carthago Z was the most influential son of the foundation sire Capitol I. He jumped in two Olympic Games with Jos Lansink, finishing 11th individually at Atlanta in 1996, jumped on winning Nations Cup teams in Rotterdam, Aachen and La Baule, and won numerous grands prix all over the globe. He has over 100 licensed sons, and over 150 offspring jumping at grand prix level. His progeny include Old Chap Tame, Mylord Carthago, Davos, Cappucino, Cash 63 and Coltaire Z.

Progeny - Hermes De Lux's offspring have elegant, pretty, faces, noble looks, long legs and elastic movements that flow through their entire body as well as great temperaments. Hermes De Lux is proving to be an excellent refining stallion; his offspring are extremely popular, with several of his foals selling for top auction prices.
