About - Inaico is the latest star to emerge from an illustrious family. He is a light, elegant, and quick-footed stallion with the beautiful blood type we expect from his sire, Indoctro. Inaico is a neat and very careful stallion who is always forward and willing.
Performance - He was one of the eye-catchers at the KWPN Stallion Shows in both Ermelo and Den Bosch. In his performance test, Inaico again impressed and he was approved with 83.5 points. His light-footedness, exceptional reflexes and remarkable carefulness were well rewarded, as was his athletic scope. For his canter, reflexes, scope, rideability and talent as a show jumper, Inaico was given an 8.5.
Sire - Indoctro is a living legend and is among the world's best sires. His offspring achieve successes at the highest level. At the Olympic Games in 2008, three horses by Indoctro attended: VDL Orestus, Don Porfirio and Picolien Zeldenrust. In Holland he is known as VDL Indoctro, while in Germany, following the Holstein naming custom, he is C-Indoctro. By any name he is one of the world’s most successful jumping sires. After being Champion of his stallion test, Indoctro went on to a successful international jumping career with Ulrich Kirchhoff. His main value has been as a breeding stallion, standing as one of VDL's foundation sires. Indoctro has been such a success as a sire for the KWPN studbook, that at the age of 16 he received the title: ‘Preferent’.
Indoctro's offspring speak for themselves. Some famous offspring include Casadora, Black Ice, Maddock, Nassau, Orame, Youp, VDL Masseratie, Mustique, Minka's Diamond, Nike, Nadia, Patrick VII, Kassandre Erger Kerbo, Wittinger, Sheraton, Sr. Doctro, Tavanta, Tyson, Ulano Ultimate, and Induction. At championships worldwide there are always Indoctro sons and daughters competing - at the 2014 World Equestrian Games, Indoctro was represented five times, including by Imothep, who finished 12th individually. Always There won the World Championship for five-year-old jumpers and was also the Dutch Jumping Champion. Van Schijndel's Concrex Owaola became Dutch Eventing Champion and Zirano V was Dutch Jumping Champion. Vedor was World Champion 6 year old jumpers and Ubalia became World Champion by the 7 year olds. Boss VDL and VDL Orame became in their years Champion of the KWPN Stallion approvals. Ultimate was Dutch Jumping Champion of the 4 year olds. Indoctro is the leading sire in the USEF ranking of jumping horses, while in 2017 he is ranked 20th on the WBFSH Sire Rankings.
Damline - Inaico's damline is also one of note. By far his most famous relative is his full sister Hello M'Lady, who won the Monaco LGCT Grand Prix and the London Olympia World Cup qualifier, among a host of other grand prix victories and placings. Their dam also produced the 1.45m jumper Fajoecha, and further back in the direct damline is the licensed stallion Cay and the 1.50m jumper Kodar. The mare family has produced several further grand prix jumpers including Kalief, Fanatico de Huincul, Clipper du Haut du Roy, Whisker, Victor, Valco and Leen O.L.
Progeny - The first foals from Inaico are super, modern types; long-legged and light-footed, with long lines and a big, powerful gallop.
