About - Quickthago is an outstanding new stallion for 2018. He was a premium stallion at the Oldenburg licensing in 2017, and impressed with his strong type and powerful jump. He is extremely quick in the air, very careful and with boundless scope.

Sire - Quickly de Kreisker and his rider Abdelkabir Ouaddar enjoyed a stellar international career, with wins including the prestigious Paris Saut Hermes Grand Prix and the Al Shaquab GCT Grand Prix. He topped the 2015 WBFSH 'Best Combination' rankings, having racked up 1680 points. Together, Quickly and Ouaddar have won multiple World Cup qualifiers and international grands prix, and jumped at the 2014 World Equestrian Games and the 2016 Rio Olympics. Quickly's sire Diamant de Semilly was the top-ranked sire on the WBFSH rankings for 2016, and is in second for 2017. Quickly's damsire Laudanum is a full-Thoroughbred stallion who is also the damsire of Jaguar Mail. He brings scope, reflexes, speed, and athleticism into the pedigree.

Damline - Damsire Numero Uno won his performance test with excellent scores; he received a 9.0 for canter, and scored an average of 8.5 for the jumping section. His explosive take-off earned him another 9.0. He jumped internationally under Marco Kutscher up to 1.50m level, having more than 25 international wins and placings.

Quickthago's damline is equally impressive; his dam Winning Girl has already produced a licensed son, Gylord Carthago, and his grand-dam A-Cover Girl is none other than the only full-sister of the legendary Carthago Z, who jumped at two Olympics with Jos Lansink, finishing 11th individually at Atlanta in 1996. He jumped on winning Nations Cup teams in Rotterdam, Aachen and La Baule, and won numerous grands prix all over the globe. He has over 100 licensed sons, and over 150 offspring jumping at grand prix level. His progeny include Old Chap Tame, Mylord Carthago, Davos, Cappucino, Cash 63 and Coltaire Z. A-Cover Girl herself jumped to international grand prix herself and is also the dam of John Whitaker's international grand prix stallion Lactic. Their half-brother Cinnamon (by Corrado II) also jumped to international grand prix level.
