About - Stakkato is one of the most phenomenal show jumping sensations. At the time of his performance test in 1996 Stakkato showed an amazing talent for jumping which was reflected in his score and first placing. He is a well built stallion with a good frame, he displays good style over the jumps as well as very good rideability marks. Stakkato started his career in jumping at the same time that he began stud duties and he has never looked back. With the renowned Eva-Maria Bitter in the saddle Stakkato became the unsurpassed winner of the Hanoverian riding horse championship at the Dobrock, as well as overriding federal champion in Warendorf.
Performance - He scored the dream points of 9.9, which has never been done before. He has had a whole series of wins in show jumping competitions.
In 1999 he took part in the Federal Championship, in which he became vice-champion. The duos tally of successes meanwhile includes international placements in Grand Prix and Nations Cups. In 2002 Stakkato led the FN breeding value statistics for showjumping for the second time running.
Sire - Spartan, began his siring career in Canada and won a number of complex competitions at Grand Prix level. He is classically bred for performance via Servus- Gotthard. Spartan is by Servus (Sesam I/Dominus/Goldfisch II) of the Trakehner Semper Idem line. Servus produced a number of successful jumpers as well as the international dressage competitor, Slivovitz. Spartan’s dam is Gottilde, by the jumping foundation sire, Gotthard, and out of a truly great mare, Steingilde by the Thoroughbred, Steinpilz xx out of S26287, a heavier mare by Elsass, a grandson of Abendsport.
Damline - The dam Pia derives from the extraordinarily true to type grey stallion Pygmalion who served in Verden for many years. Pygmalion combines great nobility and outstanding rideability with great jumping ability and was trained up to Grand Prix. Goldstern by Gotthard was very popular as a sire of very rideable and capable show jumpers. The maternal line produced the Julius Casar son Julier, who founded his own line in former East Germany
Progeny -He has 50 licensed sons, 108 state premium mares, 369 main studbook mares, 172 auction horses and winning sum of progeny is Euro 2,453,065.00. He is a life member of Hanoverian show jumper breeding program.
