About - Akarad Hero Z has proven his quality time and time again at the highest level, combining exceptional scope, courage and limitless power. Under Pieter Clemens he contributed to Belgium’s Nations Cup success in Rome in 2022 and achieved a fourth-place finish in the CSI5* Grand Prix of Brussels. His pedigree unites two of the most influential producers in modern showjumping: Aganix du Seigneur Z and the exceptional China Touch Hero.

Sire - Akarad Hero's sire Aganix du Seigneur is a stallion who is continually proving himself as a sire with his offspring competing internationally, whist passing on his incredible jumping talent.  Over the years Aganix has made a number of appearances at high class shows and always proved to those watching how much he loves his job. In 2014 he was successful in the Stal Oosterbrook Prize with rider Jos Lansink, over the years he has jumped at CS13* Van den Boogaard Snelvervoer Prix, CSI4* Provincie Noord-Holland, and CSI2* Mariënheem.

Damline - His dam China Touch Hero in addition to Akarad, has produced five approved stallions, including Zangersheide’s Devil Z, Drummer TN Z, Don’t Touch Tiji Hero, the sire of Dourkhan Hero Z, and international performers such as Diamond Touch, Esprit de La Roque, Jaguar de Tiji and King of China Hero.

Progeny - Despite limited availability during his sport career, the figures from Akarad’s first crops are strikingly impressive. With only twenty-five foals in his first two crops, fifteen compete internationally, with eleven of these already at 1.45m–1.55m level. Among these are Luka-Cara shining at 5* 1.55m with Michael Greve, Kinmar Scarlett Z under Janika Sprunger, Lumiere BH with Mimi Gochman, and Bertram Allen’s promising Akarad Tivoli Z. Much like his celebrated sire, Akarad Hero Z leaves a distinctive mark on his progeny: a commanding presence, ground-covering canter, explosive power, and exceptional scope.
