About - Combining the  athleticism, jumping ability, and quality of movement from both his sire and dam, Cashmere’s Carat is an exciting new addition. At the Westphalian Main Licensing, he was awarded Premium Stallion status, showcasing the qualities of his sire Cashmere and grandsire Cristallo—exceptional scope over fences paired with impressive movement.

Breeding director Thomas Münch described Cashmeres Carat: "Certainly standing in the upper frame on a solid foundation. Well-developed joints, well-developed front parts and certainly a stallion in movement who does not have to hide behind his colleagues in the dressage class. He has enough ground coverage, is light-footed uphill and carried, especially in canter." And Cashmeres Carat jumps just as light-footed and naturally relaxed.

Sire - His sire Cashmere was named reserve champion at the 2017 NRW licensing after the jumping phase. In 2018 he completed his 14-day test in Neustadt/Dosse with top scores of 8.14 for dressage and 8.43 for jumping. He continued to impress in the sport tests, scoring 8.56 in Sport Test I (2019) and 8.71 in Sport Test II, results he later confirmed in competition. He began his career in dressage tests for young horses, earning several top placings, before quickly proving his talent in show jumping by winning his first young horse class and later a medium-level class. Ridden by Marco Kutscher, he won silver at the Bundeschampionat for five-year-old show jumpers in Warendorf and was introduced to international sport. Now based at Bonhomme Stud with Saskia and Robert Conredel, he continues to achieve success at advanced level.

Dam - Cashmere's Carat's dam Helena by Hermes de Lux, is herself a State Premium Mare and represents the Holsteiner line 2004, a family with which we have enjoyed great success. Notable representatives of this line include Bundeschampion Caressini and the licensed stallion Cronau. Her sire, Hermes de Lux, brings valuable bloodline refinement through his sire, the 1.60 m international Anglo-Arabian Hermes D’Anthieux, while also contributing a linebreeding element to the legendary Carthago Z.
