Information

About - Olympic bloodlines define the pedigree of this exceptional athlete. He impresses with a strong presence, powerful uphill canter, and the ability to fully express the quality of his lineage over fences. His jumping qualities—scope, power, size, and technique—are ideally balanced and clearly evident. Chappeloup qualified with ease for the German Jumping Horse Championships in 2018. He has since gone on to compete successfully at international level up to 1.60m under Magdalena Margreiter (AUT). In both 2024 and 2025, he became Austrian State Champion over 1.60m under Magdalena Margreiter.

Sire - His sire, Fergar Mail, is a son of the highly successful Thoroughbred Laudanum xx, renowned in France, out of a Hanoverian mare by Almé Z–Gotthard–Friesenkönig, bred at Zangersheide. Combining top-class bloodlines, Fergar Mail enjoyed an international career in Mexico under the name Chapultepec La Silla. Among his most notable stallion sons are Lamm de Fétan, ridden by Thimothée Anciaume (FRA), winner of the Nations Cup at CHIO Aachen in 2009, as well as Singular LS La Silla, ridden by Maria Getzer (SWE) and Marcus Ehning.

Damline - Chappeloup's damline has influential international show jumping sires such as Caretano Z and Coriano appear in the pedigree. The granddam, Legend, produced the proven sire Nekton. Through Capitol I, the great-granddam Viola XI also produced the internationally successful Cento, who under was the winner of the Grand Prix of La Baule (FRA), Munich, Aachen, and Calgary (CAN), as well as World Cup champion in 2000, Olympic team gold medalist, and European team champion.
