About - Comme le Père, literally 'like the father', is a son of Comme Il Faut, from a proven damline. He is a very similar type to his sire, and a beautiful, correct model. He moves well, with good use of his shoulder and is supple through his whole body. His jumping is wonderful; quick and neat in front with an outstanding hind-end technique, and a powerful, ground-covering stride.

Performance - With Richard Vogel as his rider Comme le Père collected several placings in competitions and with Christian Kukuk he has achieved international placings and the qualification for the Bundeschampionate 2019.

Sire - Comme Il Faut is a son of the world's most successful jumping mare, Ratina Z, who won back-to-back team golds at the Barcelona and Atlanta Olympic Games with two different riders, and also took home individual silver from Barcelona. She won the World Cup in 1993 and the Grand Prix of Aachen in 1996, team gold at the World Championships in Den Haag in 1994 and double gold at the European Championships in Mannheim 1997. His sire Cornet Obolensky competed in the 2008 Olympics at the young age of nine. He is a foundation stallion in the breeding of modern jumping horses, and is currently ranked fourth in the 2017 WBFSH Sire Rankings. The total earnings of his offspring, including former World Number One Cornet D'Amour, Cornado NRW, Cornet's Cristallo, Cocoshynsky, Cornetto King, and Comme Il Faut, are over €3.7 million. The Clinton/Heartbreaker cross is a proven formula that has produced multiple grand prix jumpers including Cordess and Consul DL Vie Z, and 18 further licensed stallions.

Damline - The dam Completta is a full-sister to the licensed Completto, and their half-siblings Caligula de Hus and Come Alone both jump at 1.45m level. Completta has also produced the licensed stallion For Complete (by For Pleasure), and the damline has produced Contendro de Cuvry and Poor Boy. Damsire Contender and has more than 120 licensed sons and 110 state premium daughters, and his offspring have earned over €9million between them, including Chiara, Colore, Checkmate, Controe, Con Air, and Constantin. Third sire Pilot is responsible for well over 200 internationally successful advanced horses, with €4million in earnings.
