Terms - €1500+VAT for unlimited attempts with frozen semen, on one named mare in one breeding season. If the mare is certified not in foal before the end of September then a 50% credit applies the following year to spend on any stallion from the same stud. If the first AI of the year is July 1st or later, the credit the following year is 100%.
Please note: Schockemöhle prioritise mares on site in Germany for chilled semen from their stallions, so popular stallions may be unavailable in the peak of the season with no notice. In this instance, frozen can be offered on the same terms for most stallions, but we advise that you also have a second-choice stallion in mind also standing at Schockemöhle, in case your first-choice stallion cannot be supplied.

About - Drako de Maugre is one of the most spectacular jumping stallions of the last season. He competed successfully up to 1.55m under Alexandra Francart. In 2022 under Patrick Stühlmeyer he won the prestigious Sires of the World competition in Lanaken and took wins in the Pinneberg and Opglabbeek Grand Prix.
Sire - His sire Kannan was internationally successful with Francois Mathy Jr. and Michel Hécard. He has produced over 200 international show jumping horses, including the Olympic Champion Nino des Buissonets and Hickstead Derby winner Adventure de Kannan, and has been placed in the top group of the world WBFSH ranking for years; in 2016, he lies in fifth for jumping and tenth for eventing; an exceptional feat as no other stallion appears in the rankings for more than one discipline. He is the sire of CCI4* event horses Billy Beware, who has won six international classes and finished sixth at Badminton 2014, his first CCI4*, and Ogustin du Terroir, who was second in the Vairano Nations Cup and fourth in the under-25 CCI3* at Bramham.
Damline - His dam Atlanta de Maugre placed internationally in 1.45 meter classes under Ludovic Gaudin. He sire is the Angelo-Arabian Fusain du Defey AA, who was a finalist in the 7-year-olds World Championships for show jumping in Lanaken/BEL and later placed in the renowned Sires of the World show jumping event at Lanaken. He won the Grand Prix of Blaye/FRA, Marmande/FRA and Castres/FRA and finished second in the 1.55 meter Grand Prix of Yvre L'Eveque/FRA and Le Mans/FRA. Many of his offspring caused a sensation in show jumping and in eventing, such as the 1.60 meter show jumper Quelstar du Vic BILH/Alexandra Francart/FRA and the CCI3* crack Pepsy du Thil/Nicolas Touziant/FRA.
