About - At the Hanoverian stallion Iicensing, Fairmont Black stood out for his presence, powerful mechanics, and exceptional hind leg. He impressed throughout—on the triangle, on the lunge, and in free movement—with rhythm, balance, elasticity, and clear uphill carriage. Approved by the Hanoverian Verband, he was the top choice for the Van Uytert team and they secured him after a strong bidding duel. Fairmont Black continues to excel under saddle, combining a sweet temperament with outstanding power and rideability.
Sire - His sire Feliciano has celebrated victories in riding horse and dressage horse tests, as well as in qualifications for the Bundeschampionat for five-year-old dressage horses, earning outstanding scores of up to 9.2. He completed his sport test in Vechta as first reserve champion with a score of 9.04 and later achieved a strong result in his 50-day test in Schlieckau, finishing with a weighted final score of 8.82. In recognition of his exceptional first crop, he was awarded the 1c Main Premium by the Oldenburg Verband in 2024. His sons have impressed at licensing venues across Germany with their superior movement quality and type, resulting in five licensed sons in 2025 alone.
Damline - Fairmont Black's dam Zoey is the daughter of Blur Hors Zack, competed with Nanna Skodborg Merrald/DEN at the Olympic Games in Tokyo/JPN and narrowly missed a medal with fourth place in the team. Under Daniel Bachmann Andersen/DEN, he was part of the Danish team at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA and the European Championships in Rotterdam/NED. In 2018 and 2019, the pair placed in the World Cup Finals. Zack, who is an elite stallion and Stallion of the Year in Denmark, produced over 40 licensed sons, including our Vice Bundeschampion Zaunkönig.
