Information

About - I'm Special de Muze is named in recognition of his special and unique pedigree. He descends not only from top stallions, but also internationally approved mares, making him a top-quality breeding and sport prospect. He is a powerful, bold stallion with a strong top line, a large frame and good conformation.

Performance - In 2013, I’m Special de Muze jumped clear in all six rounds of the Belgian Pavo Stallion Competition, and in 2015 he won the GMB Competition for six- and seven-year-olds in Drachten. Also, in the same year he won the Stallion Class at the Indoor Brabant. In 2016 he recorded numerous successes internationally at 1.40m level, and rider Zoi Snells is full of praise for the stallion: "I think he has a 100% score on every aspect: he is top careful, has scope, has a great ride ability and has a super attitude."

Sire - Both his sire Emerald as well as his dam Walnut de Muze are very successful in international jumping with Harrie Smolders. Emerald was second in the World Six-year-old Final, 14th in the World Seven-year-old Final, and won the Zangersheide seven-year-old stallion class. 2012 saw Emerald debut at the grand prix, with respectable placings including fourth in Bonheiden, and three double clears in the international classes at Olympia. In December, Emerald jumped double clear in the 1.50 class at Geneva, and at the same show, I'm Special's dam Walnut was third in the grand prix.

Damline - Harrie Smolders and Walnut de Muze represented the Netherlands in the winning Nations Cup team in Calgary and Dublin, and were again in the team at the European Championships in Calgary and the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky. Walnut de Muze is also the dam of the KWPN approved Falaise de Muze, and in addition to those stallions, has produced three other top-level jumping horses. Walnut's dam Querly Chin competed in the World Cup Final of Milan with Christophe Barbeau, and during her career won Nations Cups and grands prix in Madrid, Dublin, Doha, Wellington, Mechelen and Calgary. She retired to become one of the top broodmares in Belgium, and produced several international jumpers apart from Walnut, including Merveille de Muze, Narcotique de Muze II, Narcotique de Muze IV, Walloon de Muze and Werly Chin de Muze. Also from her pedigree descend the approved stallions Querlybet Hero, Vagabond de la Pomme, Quel Hero de Muze and the BWP champion Inshallah de Muze.

Progeny - He already has six licensed sons and is the sire of numerous premium foals. His oldest offspring are beginning to emerge successfully on the international stage, and have inherited their sire's power, jump and temperament.
