About - A new black pearl has been added to the illustrious collection of Zangersheide stallions. Rob Roy vd Bisschop Z was sold for a record sum at the Woodland’s International Sales in 2021 and is now available to Zangersheide breeders thanks to a unique partnership between his new owner Pieter Devos and Stud farm Zangersheide. The Olympic medal winner himself visualises a great future for this extraordinary talent:
Sire - Grandsire was one of the best stallions worldwide, the quality of his offspring is unanimously recognised and looked forward. Exceptional showjumper himself. His great potential was been revealed in 1999 when he was France’s 1st Category Champion at the jumping criterium and was regularly ranked in international classes.
Damline - Dam's sire Jenson Van't Meulenhof is a successful show jumper and has jumped to 1.60m successfully. His sire, Vagabond de la Pomme has champion blood through and through. Not only is he the son of the Champion of the World, Arsouilles Vigo, but he also stems from solid bloodlines on the sire and dam side. In 2010, his sire Vigo d'Arsouilles won gold at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky
