About - Sarai L is a striking, elegant stallion boasting a truly world-class pedigree. Bred in Denmark by Karsten Bundgaard and Maria Rudbeck—the Danish Warmblood Studbook’s 2022 Breeders of the Year—he is a modern sire of the highest calibre. His first crops of foals have been exceptional, consistently displaying great type, expression, size, and a strong rectangular frame. In motion, they show tremendous cadence and knee action. As an added bonus for breeders, Sarai L does not carry the chestnut gene.

Performance - A premium stallion with both the Danish Warmblood (DWB) and NRPS studbooks, Sarai L has been highly praised for his outstanding conformation and exceptional movement.

Sire - His pedigree is a masterclass in modern European dressage breeding. His sire, Secret, won the silver medal at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses as a five-year-old. A son of the triple World Champion Sezuan, Secret has become a global breeding phenomenon with nearly 60 licensed sons. Grandsire For Romance I competed at the highest levels of the sport and has produced 75 licensed sons, with several already competing at Grand Prix. The great-grandsire is the legendary Belissimo M, sire of over 30 Grand Prix horses, most notably Isabell Werth’s Olympic silver medallist Bella Rose. The addition of the Thoroughbred Cannon Row xx in the fourth generation brings essential blood, toughness, and refinement.

Damline - His granddam, Beyonce L, produced Decora L (by Hesselhoj Donkey Boy), the 4-year-old Reserve Champion at the Danish National Dressage Championships. The great-granddam, Classica L, produced the Inter I dressage horses Manley L and Winston L. Tracing the maternal line back to Kiri L reveals even more quality—she is the granddam of the sensational Hesselhoj Donkey Boy, who competes at Grand Prix with scores over 80% and is already proving to be a highly influential sire.
