About - Sir Gribaldi is a young Hanoverian stallion who has already demonstrated remarkable promise.  Under the guidance of Beatrice Arturi, he delivered consistently strong performances in riding horse classes, earning placings in every outing and confirming his natural talent under saddle.

Sire - His sire Secret, himself a son of the three-time dressage horse world champion and international Inter I winner Sezuan, won his 14-day test, was Vice Bundeschampion in 2017, Vice World Champion in 2019 and Bundeschampion in 2020. There are over 50 licensed sons to his name, including the Bundeschampion Segantinin, Vice Bundeschampioness Sézane, the Vice Bundeschampion and Hanoverian Champion Sedamo K, the Hanoverian Champion So Dynamic, the Vice Championess Special Design, the Austrian Bundeschampioness Santa Florentina, the DSP Vice Champion Selected and the Baden-Württemberg State Championess Santana. At the 2023 World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses, eleven of the 44 approved youngsters had Secret as their sire, three of whom were in the final, led by sixth-placed Grevens Sirius/Michael Grönne Christensen/DEN. There were even 30 offspring at the Bundeschampionate.

Damline - Sir Gribaldi’s dam Ashanti carries type-defining noble blood through her Trakehner sire All Inclusive. He combines the influential Trakehner lines of Gribaldi and Buddenbrock. A reserve champion at his licensing, All Inclusive later competed successfully in advanced dressage and was awarded Elite Trakehner status. Despite limited breeding use, he produced five licensed sons and 32 premium mares. The granddam Light My Fire is by the Thoroughbred Lauries Crusador xx, a legendary foundation sire who produced 71 sons, most licensed in Hanover. The pedigree is further strengthened by classic Hanoverian performance lines including Weltmeyer, Wendekreis, and Cardinal xx, the latter known for his valuable influence on sport horse breeding at the Schmidt/Ankum Stud.
