About - Apardi is an impressive stallion; he is big and elegant, with an exceptional canter, he loves to work and he has endless scope. He was licensed by the KWPN on the strength of his sport results, and also meets the KWPN's X-Ray requirements.

Performance - His competition highlights include a third place at the GCT5* Grand Prix de Chantilly 2016 and second place at the CSIO5* 1.50 at Aachen 2017. With Daniel Bluman, the stallion also competed at the Olympic Games in Rio.  As an 8-year-old, he won the North American Young Horse Championship in Wellington.

Sire - Corland himself competed at the highest level and the progeny of this top sire also perform at a top international level was such as Top Gun, Marlo and Silvana. Corland had an impressive career under W.J. van der Schans, placing in grands prix in Rotterdam, Oslo, Den Bosch, Bordeaux, Maastricht, Helsinki, Zuidlaren, La Baule and Calgary. He also was Champion of the Benelux in The Hague, seventh in the World Cup of Verona and second in The Sires of the World in Lanaken. At the European Championship, Corland proved to all that he belongs in the category of the best in the world. He won both qualifiers and had the best results of the first-round competition, with the fastest clear round in the qualifying speed class; in the finals, he was 9th.

Damline - Apardi’s dam line is also impressive. Apardi’s full brother, Bacardi VDL, can also be found at the top level. He was sold after a successful career with Jos Lansink. Now, he is back in the ring with Janika Sprunger. Apardi’s dam, Supardi was awarded a 9 for scope in her mare test. Apardi’s half-sister, Capardi (s. Wittinger VDL), also did an outstanding IBOP test. She received the highest score of the day and an 8.5 for her canter. Grand dam Gupardie (by Jasper) is the dam of the 1.50 showjumper Agupardie (by Montreal VDL) and the 1.60 showjumper Tupardie (by Ahorn).

Progeny - Apardi has been focused on sport for most of his life, and his oldest offspring were born in 2017; we look forward to seeing what he will produce.
