About - Da Costa is a strong compact stallion with great presence and rideability. With a lot of power in the trot and canter and a rare exceptional walk, his gaits make him an excellent choice to breed higher level dressage horses. With a total score of 8.2 in his performance test he stamped his first foals consistently with his type and movement.
Sire - Dimaggio was an outstanding sire and small tour stallion, who sadly passed away in 2015. As a young horse, he was World Champion of the five-year-olds in 2000, and he went on to collect many victories at prix st georges and intermediate I level. His offspring include Half Moon Delphi, part of the silver medal winning team at the 2014 World Equestrian Games, Woodlander Dornroschen, grand prix winner and shortlisted for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, international grand prix horse Headmore Delegate, licensed stallion Treliver Decanter, and junior and young rider stars Duela and Donna Summer. Woodlander Dornroschen also produced double World Young Horse Champion Woodlander Farouche, who has been a sport sensation and is unbeaten at international small tour level, and the two licensed stallions Freddie M and Franz Ferdinand.
Damline - Damsire Coriander competed at grand prix dressage by the age of seven, and is line-bred to the great Cor de la Bryere, with his jumping blood making him and ideal addition to any dressage pedigree. The damline has produced the grand prix horse Cooper, while Da Costa's maternal sister La Vita has already produced two licensed sons, Like A Diamond (v. Laureus) and Fuoco Nel Fuoco (v. Finest).
