Lamm de Fetan

Information

About - Lamm de Fetan is a tall and powerful stallion, rideable and with a will to win. He is a big horse and therefore has a huge canter, but he also is noticeably fast away from a jump and very capable of a quick turn. At 50% Thoroughbred he is particularly suited to mares in need of some refinement.

Performance - He jumped under Timothee Anciaume for the French team; he was French 7-year-old champion, and won many seven-year-old classes including the grand prix of Marseilles. As a ten-year-old he won the Bourg en Bresse 4* grand prix, and the Nations Cups in Lummen and Aachen.  Aged 11 he won the CSI5* grand prix in Valencia. He has many more placings in CSI5* grand prix, including fourth in the 2009 Olympia Grand Prix.

Sire - His father Fergar Mail comes from an incredible family, one of the most successful jumping families in France. Fergar is 64% TB and so brings - through his grand prix jumping full TB sire Laudanum - a huge dose of blood into modern sport horse breeding. His full sister Elvira Mail prouced Jaguar Mail, Olympic showjumper and prolific sire of eventing superstars. 

Damline - Mother Harmony de Fetan has produced two other approved stallions, plus a 1.45m jumper, Relamm de Fetan. She is a daughter of Le Tot de Semilly, father of Diamant de Semilly, Elkintot, Eurocommerce Vancouver, Picsou de Chene, Fidji de Fleury, Itot du Chateau, and many more top jumpers.

Progeny - Lamm's offspring have impressed with their jump and their mindsets. He has twelve licensed sons, including the 1.60m show jumper Ulahop Boy, and two of his earliest offspring are now jumping at grand prix, while a further two are eventing at CIC4* level, proving his versatility as an all-round sire.
