About - Zinedream is everything you could desire in a modern jumping stallion; scope, charisma, and temperament. He is a beautiful horse, with three equally brilliant basic gaits, and his jumping technique is outstanding - he is exceptionally good behind, and very quick in the air with a lot of freedom and power.
Performance - He was the clear champion and crowd favourite at the 2016 Oldenburg licensing, and sold to Gestüt Bonhomme for €215,000 in the ensuing auction. He passed his performance test in May 2017, scoring a 9.0 for loose jumping.
Sire - "From this stallion will be hearing a lot more" - was the unanimous verdict of the press after Zinedine's brilliant World Cup premiere in the Stuttgart German Masters as just an eight-year-old, where he jumped clear and placed seventh. Since joining Ludger Beerbaum, his career had already been successful; the pair won the youngster tours of Rotterdam, Aachen, Münster and Paderborn. They have gone from strength to strength; second in the GCT London GP, fourth in Chantilly, and fifth in Shanghai. They have picked up many top-ten placings at grand prix, including seventh in Rotterdam, tenth in 's-Hertogenbosch, seventh in Wiesbaden, and second in Paris. Zinedine's sire Guidam is a son of the legendary Quidam de Revel, and was internationally successful with Eric van der Vleuten. He has produced many championship offspring, including Ninja la Silla (2008 Olympic silver and 2011 European Championships gold), and Authentic (2008 Olympic bronze). In 1996 Guidam was named Stallion of the Year by the KWPN and carries the title of keur.
Damline - Zinedream's dam Panam Air has also produced the grand prix jumping stallion Quiwi Dream (by Quidam de Revel), who had a stellar young horse career and is now jumping internationally under Hans-Dieter Dreher. Grand-dam Ilauda has given the licensed stallions Com Air I and II, by Contender, and her daughter Flybaboo Air is the dam of dressage stallions Sir Olli and Greek Air. The great granddam E-Rijeka produced the licensed stallion Canon (by Calido) as well as the internationally successful advanced level show jumper Copenhagen GK, and the stallions Akribori and Stakko Air also descend from this damline.
